Ok, not only you didn't follow the jam rules (no more than 6 buttons man!) but you also made something that doesn't resemble the gameboy aesthetics at all. Also, I feel like i completed the last level but the game doesn't actually acknolodge it, so I will assume it's broken. A mess really.
Sorry for the mean review, but you really need to step up, and I actually think you can do it next time.
This game might not have a Gameboy aesthetic, but it absolutely follows the jam rules. The resolution appears appropriately limited, and it only ever displays four colours on screen at a time.
The jam allows for 8 buttons actually - D-pad, A, B, Start, Select.
I'm sorry that you feel dissapointed after playing the game. I have replayed the last level, and the game acknowledged my solution. Could you provide me with a screenshot of your solution, please? By the way, according to the internet there was actually a '3D' game for game boy called Faceball 2000 (I haven't played it though).
